Himalayan Wisdom
Through marriage, I am a member of an authentic Himalayan village family steeped in pure and ancient traditions. Rooted in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and the community I served for 20 years, I made more than 12,000 home visits as a visiting nurse with the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association over 15 years, and served as Director of Nursing for the Ridgefield Public Schools for six years, overseeing 14 school nurses and acting as liaison to the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Department of Education during the COVID-19 crisis.
I understand Connecticut—its culture, its families, its healthcare landscape—from two decades of direct service. Grounded in wisdom traditions passed through generations as a family member, I combine rigorous neuroscience-based psychiatric care with insights from Himalayan culture on human values that can help you recognize self-limiting patterns, foster empathy and resilience, and discover new approaches to life, bringing greater wellbeing to you and those you love. Think of me as a mirror: I reflect back what’s already there so you can see yourself more clearly and move in the direction you actually want to go.
